Outside of the Library, this is what I have been up to lately:

This weekend is the performance of the musical "Flapper!" It's a travel back through time to the roaring 20's with flappers, gangsters, socialites and audition for a Ziegfeld production in one zany, madcap musical!  I have had a lot of fun learning the Charleston!  I'm attaching a picture from rehearsal the other night.  The plot surrounds Polly Pepper, a young socialite who at her 18th birthday party, will receive a beautiful and expensive necklace called "the ice garden." Pretty much all of the guests and hired help (i.e. gangsters in disguise) have their eyes on the necklace too!

I act as Polly, and have three costume changes!  This dress I wear in the last scene for my character's birthday party.      I'm adding a couple of pictures of my Library, it's small but have the most beautiful columns and arched windows!  It turns 100 this year!  I'm adding a picture I took the other night and one taken in 1915.
